I've enjoyed this film every time I've seen it (which is many) but the sexuality is certainly strange. I mean, the only sex scene begins with a role-played rape? I doubt that would fly now.
I hate the DVD reissue gravy train, and I was perfectly happy with the previous Butch, but the one key new feature on this one is a William Goldman commentary. I must have it!
BTW, the old DVD has one of the best contemporary making-of's I've ever seen in terms of it not at all being EPK material. The only other similar one I can think of is the documentary on The Shining by Kubrick's daughter.

Did Goldman write an Oscar commentary this year? Boy would I like to read his opinion on Brokeback.
