New Blogger version
by Brian
I upgraded to a new version of Blogger this morning, and the upshot is that you'll now need a Google ID to sign in. I think that everyone will be able to sign in OK without me doing anything further after registering with Google, but if not, let me know. Thankfully, you don't need to give any info except for an email address to sign up with Google.

Oooooo! But what does it do?
Well, great, I was resenting that Google was making me switch when I'd had an account with Blogger before Google bought it, so I was sticking to the old one. It's hard to explain--I love Google, but I try to keep my gmail address from getting spread around too much, so I of course was using my spam-bait Yahoo! address with Blogger. But now I have to use my Google account to login to Blogger? It was too much for me even though my objection makes no sense, really. And now Brian has forced me....
*sigh*
I'm going to be in Puerto Rico next week. Seems like a good place to catch The Fountain, right? ;-)
I notice we lost a few people in our contributors' list. Has anyone heard from Chris? I miss his viewpoint on things.

Nope. Should we mailbomb him?
Here here. I second that emotion.
or is it hear hear?
Hear, hear
And is you seconding that Emotion a misspelling, or are you seconding my Motion to mailbomb?
your motion...with a little Smokey Robinson flavor... No Motown in Sweden? ;-)
No Motown in Sweden? ;-)
I'm sure it's played somewhere, but no, not much. We're mostly a white geezer rock nation. Springsteen and the Stones coming over every summer and selling out a couple of stadiums. Don't let the ABBA and indie cred fool you, Roxette is most endemic of Swedish popular music culture.
What about DJRiko? Speaking of Smokey Robinson and white geezer rock, his arrangment of "For Those About To Clown"most appropriate. And awesome...
Description: "Angus Young's "For Those About to Rock" guitar and John Bonham's "Carouselambra" drums provide a new backing for Smokey Robinson's "Tears of a Clown" vocals."
Hey, that was fucking great!
Checking out the other songs..
