In Case You Missed It

by Count Olaf
Here is a copy of that 7-minute X3 preview I taped from the local FOX station last night (RapidShare, 75mb, avi w/XviD codec)....

I don't know. Something about it just seems....cheesy. Can't put my finger on it. Perhaps it's just too weird to see the Beast and hear Dr. Frasier Crane.

I'll still be there opening evening, however.

Great quality there. Thanks.

Doesn't look as bad as I thought. Then again, why would they show anything bad? Didn't see Vinnie, for one thing.

But some stuff looked really good. McKellen's scene was really powerful, and the Worthington/Angel scene was well done.

Yeah, I'll probably see it. Even if it gets bad reviews.

Yeah, this pretty much sums up what I've been thinking -- Ratner is a serviceable director, and with him coming in so late in the game on an established franchise, X3 should be solid.

Mediocre. Visually, acting, etc. this feels more like an X-Men television pilot more than a movie.

The music (which I'm praying it's just a cheesy temp-track) is awful. Here's hoping it's not John Powell's final score.

As far as the Brotherhood goes - has anyone ever watched that Aussie kids soap "The Tribe"? I think the X3 costume designer has...

Don't trust that review. X-Men 3 is a Fox movie so of course MSN(NBC) will trash it.

Wells called it "less-than-elegant but somewhat entertaining- passable-not painful." Which is pretty much what we've all been expecting. I'm seeing it Thursday night, for sure. These movies are always better when you go in with low expectations.

I just really hope Cyclops dies, I hate that douche.
