February Movies
by Count Olaf
It's my birth month and to me the list looks worse than January with few bright spots. But there is one that I'm DYING to see....

February Movies
Never seen Reno 911, but I am kind of looking forward to Ghost Rider, although I'm sure it will suck. It takes me back to my mispent teen years reading comics, and glad to see that Hollywood is now getting to the second tier of Marvel characters
I just hope they use Rollins' Ghost Rider song from The Crow in Cage's movie...
"Ghost Rider motor cycle he-ro
Baby baby he lookin` so cute
See him ride ride ride in a blue jump suit
Ghost Rider motor cycle he-ro
Baby baby baby he`s a blazin` away
Like the stars stars stars in the universe
Ghost Rider motor cycle he-ro
Baby baby baby he`s screamin` the truth
America America`s killin` its youth
Ghost Rider
Ghost Rider"
I'd have to say that the one February movie that I'm really looking forward to is The Lives of Others. A few others look possibly interesting but that's the only one that stands out.
Not really a fan of "Reno 911!" I remember kind of liking "The State", though.
I think Days of Glory is also being released in the U.S. in February.
Yeah, I'll go see Days of Glory, as well as Factory Girl, Breach, Black Snake Moan, Astronaut Farmer, Breaking and Entering, probably a few others. But I'm not terribly excited about any of them.
February is the best season for films here, so this week we have The Queen arriving. The Best Picture noms mean the film's gotten quite a lot of coverage, and thanks to that (and Swedes in general being slightly royalist) all over 40s have gone batshit. It's the first film since Gladiator I've heard my mother talk excitedly about.
Next week Pan's Labyrinth. Children of Men was supposed to come out then also, but I guess the lack of expected nominations must have given the distributor cold feet. Fucking AMPAS.
I didn't give Amazing Grace much of a thought when I read the IMDB description, but I stumbled upon the site this week and have been reading more and more about it.
Everyone immediately says "Amistad" when they read the description, but the review in Variety didn't even bring that up. It seems like a very inspirational true story and I'm looking forward to crying with this one as I laugh with Reno911 and possibly cringe with Number23....
